Take a look at just some of our favorite photos from this engagement session at the historic Batsto Village in Hammonton, NJ. We captured these beautiful photos in early spring when the tree leaves were just starting to re-appear for the year and some flowers began to bloom. We began photographing on the more natural side of the park near the lake in some more formal outfits with the couple wearing a flowy dress and button up the field. There are fields of of tall grass and pathways that wind along the water which are perfect for the natural frolicking through the field vibe. Then, after a quick outfit change to some more casual jeans, we wandered through the historic preserved village. Surrounding a large mansion at the center are flowering trees, wooden fences, rustic stone and wooden buildings, and everything else you would imagine a village built in the 1800s would feature
Batsto is one of our favorite spots to photograph engagement or family photo sessions in South Jersey. It has a huge variety of spots and different looks all within an easy 10-15 minute walk. For either the middle of nowhere nature vibe or the rustic farm feel it is the perfect spot.
