Below is our gallery of wedding photos that we captured entirely at The Mainland located in Manahawkin just minutes away from LBI. The best way to to encapsulate this day in the fewest words is just to tell you to check out the groom’s hair. It takes a certain level of awesomeness to rock a foot long mohawk on your wedding day and really just stage for the fun, joy, and silliness that began the moment we arrived for getting ready at the hotel. We were the only photographer for the day so bounced back and forth between the groomsmen and bridesmaids to capture all the natural moments for the first couple of hours.

After a first look with the bride and her bridesmaids, we went outside in front of the hotel for the first look of the couple. Afterwards we captured all of the portraits and group photos carefully shielded from the 30 mph winds that were blowing through the entire morning. After a stop at the bar for a few photos and a few drinks everyone got ready for the ceremony. We always tell couples we don’t see the first look take away from the ceremony itself and the amount of tears from the bride during this short 15 minute union led by her father is proof of that. Right after the ceremony, we ran outside during sunset for a silhouette photo that only can be accomplished with a mohawk and then rejoined cocktail hour to capture the candid moments. The reception began with dances and toasts and quickly turned into a party with some wildness on the dance floor (and during the cake cutting). We literally could not have asked for a more fun couple. After photographing their engagement session in Asbury Park and backyard wedding ceremony in 2020 we were counting down the days until all of these moments. Enjoy looking through and we are always happy to share the full gallery if you ask.
