Below is a look at our photographs from this wonderful wedding day with both the ceremony and reception at the elegant English Manor in Ocean Township New Jersey. From the moment the bride and groom arrived on their respective trolleys and through the end of the reception, we found so many amazing and candid moments to capture! Enjoy looking through the photos and reading a bit more about the story of this couples wedding day below!

The bride, bridesmaids, and flower girl hopping off the trolley with their dresses in tow and heading to the bridal suite at the English Manor!

With the dress, veil, and jewelry all looking just right we walked to the carriage house just out front of the manor to capture portraits of both the bride by herself and then also with the bridal party and her family! We loved the rustic look combined with all of the beautiful foliage of this very early fall wedding.

After photos at the carriage house, we also grabbed some group shots both in front of the manor itself and on their grounds in back as we tried top keep the bride hidden from her soon to be husband!

While we captured the bride, our second photographer hung out with the guys in the grooms suite as they pinned on the boutonniere and got their ties looking just right. Then they also headed out to explore the grounds of the manor!

But before heading outside there was still time for a quick hug and some smiles with mom on the way down the stairs! The manor was also laid out perfectly that we could capture photos of both the bride and groom simultaneously while still keeping them separate before the ceremony. With so many perfect spots for photos we never had to compromise.

As guests began to arrive for the ceremony, everyone took their places to get ready to walk over the bridge and around the path to the wedding arch. The wedding ceremonies are always among our favorite parts of the day to photograph (though honestly we love every part) because there is always so much going on that we can capture. There are the candid images of the guests and family before or during the ceremony, the wide photos showing off the entire space, and then finally the emotion on the bride and groom faces’ as they says their vows. We know that almost all of these following photos will speak for themselves with little context needed!

With a huge smile on his face the groom watched as the bride and her father came down the aisle together!

Both the bride and grooms mothers together recited a poem and blessing for the couple to start off the ceremony before the officiant (another family member) took over!

After the ceremony, and as their guests made their way to the cocktail hour, the bridal party made sure to fit in a toast back in front of the manor!

After some combined photos of the group, we took just the bride and groom back around for a walk of grounds together for their couples portraits. Our style is to go with the flow of finding cool spots, giving an idea of how to pose, and snapping away rather than relying on super set up images. We love the emotion that we can capture while letting couples be more of themselves!

While they couldn’t be there in person (too much energy!) the couple still managed to get a family photo with their beloved dogs! If you look carefully at the photos, you’ll see the cardboard cutouts moving all around the Manor throughout the wedding day.

After enjoying a delicious cocktail hour and as the sun just was beginning to set, all of the friends and family headed into the French themed reception room complete with a macaroon cake!

Once the reception begins we always joke that we won’t be speaking to the bride and groom anymore. Not because we don’t want to, but because there is always so much happening that our style is back to being completely candid. From the entrances and first dances through the toasts and cake cutting there are plenty of “big” events to capture. And then for all of the time in between we photograph everyone just hanging out, dancing, and having a blast!

The couple first danced on a cloud together surrounded by the bridal party and their guests! Then came the parents dances with bride with her father followed by the groom and his mother. With many smiles and tears among everyone, it was an honor to be able to capture these touching moments.

After the toasts from the maid of honor and best man, the dance floor was officially opened for the rest of the night! As the party continued on we continued to photograph all of the candid moments all around the room.
