Photographs from a wedding in one of the most unique wedding venues we have seen in the New jersey – The Art Factory! We can only describe the space as fully authentic industrial chic. The factory maintains almost all of the original elements from when served as a textile mill in the 19th century from exposed wood and metal beams, wood plank floors, concrete walls,  machinery mounts, and more. It is not a place that could describe as stereotypically pretty but we think it is the perfect backdrop for couples looking for a unique wedding vibe fit for a party!

We began capturing all of the candid moments in the bridal suite from the end of the hair and makeup process and right through a first look with the brides father and brothers involving a stick on mustache. After some bridal party photos in the courtyard, we headed to main street in Paterson to the for a more traditional but also awe inspiring ceremony location at St John the Baptist Roman Catholic Cathedral. The massive Cathedral was a grand backdrop for the ceremony and we loved capturing different angles showing off both the architecture and couple throughout the nuptials and following mass.

Everyone then hopped back on the trolley to the Factory where we once again found some perfect spots for some throwing of lavender buds on the couple and also some amazing portraits. Of course the reception was perfect with everything fitting right into place – touching first dances, amazing food served family style, and one heck of a dance party as family and friends enjoyed the night. There were so many amazing moments that it is impossible to just pick a few favorites to show but hope you enjoy looking at the below!
