Though they were originally planning for a large traditional wedding where they lived in the state of Washington, unexpected opportunities took this couple back central New Jersey where Tyler grew up years prior. Not wanting to wait another moment to be wed, they planned a small but beautiful ceremony at Colonial Park officiated by Tyler’s newly ordained grandfather. They contacted us on very short notice, but luckily we had the date still open to capture the day! The timing could not have been better with purple heather and other flowers filling the arboretum as the sun shined down on this mid summer day. Immediately upon our arrival we got a sense at just how meaningful this moment was and how deep their connection was from hearing the anticipation in Tyler’s voice. From the moment Taylor walked down the flower lined path and into view of Tyler waiting in landscaped gardens, everyone in attendance struggled to keep their composure with nigh a dry eye in sight. With a few pauses wipe away tears of joy along the way, vows were exchanged followed by the rings and the marriage was sealed with a kiss. After many hugs and congratulations from their family, we took a walk with the couple throughout the grounds of the park. Keeping everything lighthearted, we captured many amazing portraits showing their connection as they embraced and even danced throughout the grounds. We wish them the best going with all their new adventures going forwards.
