We always love photographing wedding days that take place at locations meaningful to the couple! On this day we began at the homes of the couple’s parents where both bride and groom got ready surround by family and friends. After everyone was ready to go and both excitement and nervousness was at it’s peak, we hopped just down the street to the Saint Augustine of Canterbury church where both had gone to mass for years while growing up around Kendall Park. NJ. The ceremony was nothing short of perfect with so many beautiful and touching moments spread throughout. We arrived at South Gate Manor in Freehold to photograph some portraits and bridal party photos on the grounds (and enjoyed the delicious cocktail hour) until the reception was set to begin! The entrances included a dinosaur (yes really) and arch by the wedding party to set the tone of this giant party. The first dances were full of spins and twirls by both father and mother in the ballroom and toasts full of stories about both bride and groom. The rest of the night was a blur of hours of awesome music, dancing, and great food punctuated by a viennese spread that took up an entire room. It was an honor to capture this wedding day and marriage celebration! We hope you enjoy looking through the photos below – they are just some of the many candid moments we captured.
