Since last year we have been looking forward to capturing this rustic North Jersey wedding at The Barn at Perona Farms for this beautiful couple! In the morning we split our time between the bridal suites to photograph the many little details of the day and both bride and groom preparing for the big day ahead. A passing rain shower meant capturing first look and initial portraits indoors, but we were soon able to hop outside outside of the barn for bridal party and couples portraits without an umbrella in sight! The ceremony soon followed in the top floor of the converted barn itself with exposed woodwork framing the couple as they exchanged rings and sealed the marriage with a kiss. High energy entrances, first dances, and touching speeches kicked off the reception while a family style dinner was served. We found everyone having a blast dancing, in the photo booth, and enjoying the smores over a bonfire on the patio. After what can only be described as a wacky cake cutting, the traditional Horah was danced with the entire reception joining the dance floor while lifting the couple on chairs. We couldn’t imagine a better night and wish the best to the new couple!
