Our wedding photos from Park Chateau, one of the most beautiful traditional style venues in central NJ! We always look forward to photographing here with their perfectly maintained outdoor grounds, on site chapel, attentive staff, and all the different spaces inside and out for the cocktail hour and reception. Take a look at our photographs below to get an idea of what a full day of wedding photography looks like at Park Chateau and also similar venues.
We capture every wedding day in a photojournalistic and candid style where there is a bit of time set aside for the traditional posed photos during the first look but from the ceremony and on we let the day flow naturally and just follow along! In between what you see were hundreds of other moments that we are more than happy to show you if you ask.
We began in the bridal suite with the bride to capture detail photos of the wedding dress and other accessories while hair and makeup was being perfected on the bride and bridesmaids!
After her mom zipped up the back of her dress, it was time for a first look with the the entire group of bridesmaids and then with the bride’s father.
After the guys suited up and tied their ties in the grooms suite, it was time for the first look on the walkway near the front of Park Chateau.
After a touching first look with the couple, we took a brief tour of the grounds to to capture some portrait style photos of the bride and groom together.
We began on the stone paver walkway in front of the venue, then moved by the lake out front, and then into the center of the courtyard with the gazebo.
The wedding party and family then gathered up together for the last posed photos before the wedding day really began with the ceremony!
The ceremony took place in the chapel in the main courtyard Park Chateau and was officiated by a close friend of the couple. Quite literally every seat was full.
The ceremony alternated between tears and laughter as the couple relived their journey together, recited their vows, and finally tried to remember which finger the wedding ring went on with 150 of their friends and family looking on.
After the ceremony, everyone made their way to the cocktail hour which took place all throughout the venue both inside and outside and featured everything from cheeseburgers to raw oysters.
We found a couple minutes for a photo on the steps and in the ballroom but otherwise the couple was able to mingle and enjoy cocktail hour with all the guests.
The reception began with grand entrances that led right into three first dances. The first dance ofthe couple together, then the bride and her father, and family the groom and his mother. Because it was an afternoon reception and sunset was so late, there was natural light streaming into the large windows giving a very elegant look.
The couple’s first dance quite literally had it all with smoke, sparklers, and spins in the grand ballroom!
After a handful wedding speeches and toasts, the dance floor was opened and the party began!
For the rest of the evening the couple danced, played the drums, shot CO2 into the crowd and just generally had an all around amazing time! We loved the energy of this day from the beginning to the end.
