Our photos from this wedding day that took us from Pompton Plains to Laurelwood Arboretum, and finally to the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park. We began photographing at the bride’s house and at the groom’s hotel room in Pompton Plains to capture the getting ready with family and the wedding. The groom soon arrived on the trolley for a first look and a few portrait style photos just on the side of the house. Once everyone was ready, we all loaded in and made our way to Laurelwood Arboretum for family photos, wedding party shots, and more couples’ portraits.
We then arrived at Park Avenue Club where the main events of the wedding would take place. We did a quick loop of their various inside and outside spaces for a few more portraits but everyone have some time to relax and prepare as guests arrived. The ceremony took place on their outside patio in the perfect fall weather and the reception in their grand ballroom.
Our goal is always to let couples and their loved ones enjoy the wedding to the fullest while capturing the day in a candid, photojournalistic style. We set aside some time traditional posed photos, and how much time is totally up to you, but otherwise we let the day flow naturally and just follow along! In between what you see were hundreds of other moments that we are more than happy to show you if you ask.
