Hoboken is always an amazing spot for engagement photos as a town with a great vibe of its own but also because of the views of NYC. There are so many of options all within a short walk of the waterfront area that there is something for everyone who wants the urban feel. We met the couple and began photographing at the pier parks which extend into the Hudson River. We love using them every time we are in Hoboken because they provide completely unobstructed views of the New York City skyline but still keep a traditional park setting with pathways, benches, and more. We then made our way uptown towards the Stevens Institute and onto the streets lined with colorful brownstones as the sun began to see in the distance. Nearby we found another of our favorites – Court Street which is still paved with cobblestones from when the city was originally built. The quaint buildings and gardens there were the perfect backdrop before walked back to the waterfront once again. There we found the Lackawanna Terminal tower beautifully lit up for some last few photos with the last bit of light still in the sky! We loved capturing the connection and love between this pair and cannot wait to photograph their wedding  at Perona Farms next year.
