Check out some of our favorite photos from this engagement session taking place in Coney Island in Brooklyn New York! While we mostly wandered inside of Deno’s Amusement Park we also took a little trip around the boardwalk and to the arcades along Surf Ave. From growing up in Brooklyn just a few streets away, the couple had a ton of meaningful memories from the area and it was amazing to explore the park and find a ton of cool little photos spots along the way. While green parks of trees, rivers, flowers are always beautiful we always love to change up the vibe to somewhere full of bright colors, metal textures, and just a little grit. Since it was still early in the season, there weren’t big crowds and we found a lot of really awesome art painted on the fronts of the many little closed up storefronts that you would never otherwise see. We hope you enjoy looking at these photographs!
The Nathan’s Hot Dog shop on the boardwalk almost looks even more awesome with the front gates pulled down so you can see the murals.
The underpass in Deno’s Park leading from the kids rides to the Wonder Wheel and boardwalk style games! This was the one super specific request from the couple and it definitely is an awesome photo spot.
We just happened to get lucky and grab this photo right as the roller coaster flew by on the track in the background.
Outside of Denos, we stopped by the Coney Island Sideshow building, one of the arcades full of classic games, and the front gates of Luna Park.
We are based in NJ but always travel throughout the state and to NYC for engagement sessions and wedding photography. Click around our website to see some more of work or reach out for some more information about scheduling an engagement session of your own!
