Our favorite bunch of photos from yet another engagement session from one of our favorite New Jersey shore towns– Asbury Park! We photographed these two amazing guys together as we explored the ocean-side boardwalk from the Paramount Theater to the old casino and carousel buildings. We always love photographing weddings and engagements among the unique art and murals which decorate the many buildings and walls and give Asbury it’s signature charm. We can’t think of anywhere else in the area that has the same kind of look and potential to be used in so many different ways for photographs. For any sort of artistic, different, or slightly off-beat style of look this is definitely a place to consider. We still did hop on the beach for one of the first photos we captured in the air from our camera drone! We can’t wait to bring it out again anytime we have a good opportunity going forwards! We also definitely will be back here many times this year for various sessions but especially can’t wait to photograph this couples wedding at Tim Mcloone’s (The Robinson Ale House) this fall. We photograph weddings and engagements of all types whether gay, lesbian, or straight and always have a blast capturing every couple’s love for each other.
Engagement sessions at Asbury Park do not require any permits and parking is very easy in the off season and typically a few blocks away in the summer. It is a great place to photograph any time of year but does get busy during the summer beach season. However, it is always beautiful around sunrise or sunset. A photo from above from our drone with the Paramount Theater and Murals in the background! The totally empty beach was the perfect place to make the couple stand out even when they look small.
