Below are photo highlights from this classic New Jersey wedding featuring a traditional church ceremony and a barn reception at Brigalias in Sicklerville, NJ.
The wedding day began at the bride’s family home in Swedesboro, New Jersey, where we captured the final moments of getting ready as she was surrounded by her bridesmaids. From there, we traveled to the church for the ceremony, photographing the groom as he finished getting ready in the side room. Just outside the church doors, moments before the ceremony began, the bride shared an emotional first look with her father. The couple then exchanged vows during a traditional Catholic wedding ceremony.
Following the church ceremony, the celebration continued at Brigalias in Sicklerville, one of South Jersey’s most popular wedding venues. The couple’s main priority was spending time with their guests, so portraits were kept to about ten minutes in the Brigalias side garden near the fountains while they rehearsed their first dance. Guests then moved into Brigalias’ newly built rustic barn reception space, where grand entrances led into first dances with the couple and their parents.
One of the most memorable moments of the reception was a surprise dance between the bride and her six brothers, who joined her one by one on the dance floor. After heartfelt toasts and an incredible meal, the night ended with nonstop dancing and celebration inside the Brigalias barn.
My goal is to ensure you never have to worry about the logistics of photography. I focus on capturing the soul of the day so you can remain fully present in it. While the highlights are shown below, there are hundreds and hundreds more moments from this day that I am honored to have captured.
